In 2009, the Mayor of Furesø Municipality, Ole Bondo Christensen, opened Mikkel Alexander Grabowski’s exhibition at Farum Kulturhus.
The exhibition focused on the Mølleåen. It featured 40 photographs displayed inside and outside the building.
Mikkel photographed the Mølleåen over 33 years. He started the project around 1978 when he was only 12 years old.
His photographs document the nature and wildlife along the river. They also show how the landscape has changed over the years.
Mikkel later published a beautiful coffee table art book called Mølleåen. The book brings together his long-term photographic work along the river.
