As a musician I am using my artist name: Alexander
At the age of 8 I started playing classical music on the violin and at the age of 10 I switched to the electric bass guitar and played for many years in a rock band (Børnerock) in Denmark. My uncle – the legendary danish actor and singer Jess Ingerslev – taught me some chords on the guitar and my grandfather who was a classical pianist, taught me abit on the piano so I could start composing my own songs.
As a young adult I have played bass in a variety of bands ranging in genres from reggae to pop and funk. During my early career I worked as a professional photographer making audio-visual corporate presentations but from the age of 27 I decided to also pursue my musical ambitions to a higher degree. This propelled me to write my own songs and learn how to sing.
Later I was educated as a music teacher and I play acoustic- and electric guitar, fretted- and fretless bassguitar, some piano and a bit of drums. So far I also record- and produce my own music.
