Her Majesty Margrethe ll and his royal highness Prince Henrik photographed at Amalienborg Castle in 1991. Despite Royal photographer Rigmor Mydtskov being the only one credited as the author of the image, Mikkel Grabowski was actually the man behind the camera, deciding on the framing, the filmtype (Kodak EPN), the focusing, exposure settings and the timing of the exposures. The aperture on his Mamiya RZ67 with a 50 mm 4,5 was set at 5,6 and a shutterspeed around 1/4 second was chosen, giving the image a balanced blend between flashlights and the other lights inside the royal castle |
